Privacy Policy
1. Controller and contact
Bartind'r is operated by Stefano Fabiano. Contact: awalsia25@gmail.com.
2. Data we process
We may process email address, role, name, city, country, biography, experience, skills, hourly rates, workplace details, photos, videos, documents, likes, matches, messages, reactions, read status, typing status, online status, last-seen data, push tokens, authentication records and technical logs. For safety, we also process terms acceptance and its timestamp, blocks, reports, reported content snapshots, moderation decisions and review notes.
3. Purposes
- Create and secure accounts.
- Display profiles and enable discovery, likes and matches.
- Provide chat, media sharing and notifications.
- Prevent abuse and respond to support requests.
- Meet legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
Where applicable, processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligations.
5. Providers
Bartind'r uses service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database and storage, and Expo-related services for app infrastructure and push notifications. Resend delivers transactional email alerts to the moderation team. Images uploaded to profiles and chats, including images awaiting review, are sent to OpenAI for automated visual safety moderation only after you give separate explicit permission in the app. Chat text, videos, audio and documents are not sent to OpenAI by this feature. You may choose manual moderation instead; images remain hidden from other users until approved. Change or withdraw permission in Profile → Account → AI moderation privacy. Withdrawal stops future AI processing and does not reverse analysis already completed. Your choice and its timestamp are recorded for privacy compliance. Images that cannot be approved automatically remain in the moderator review queue; video, audio and documents require manual review.
6. Sharing
Profile information may be visible to eligible users. Messages and attachments are visible to match participants, subject to blocking and moderation. Authorised moderators can access pending media and private report evidence to investigate abuse. The reported user cannot access another user's private report through the app.
7. Retention
Data is kept while the account is active and for a limited period when needed for security, backups, disputes or legal compliance.
8. Deletion
Delete your account in the app through Profile → Account → Delete account, or use the web deletion page.
9. Rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing.
10. Children
Bartind'r is intended for users aged 18 or older.
11. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated as the service changes.
