Terms of Service
1. Service
Bartind'r helps bartenders and hospitality businesses discover profiles, match and communicate. Bartind'r is not an employer, recruitment agency or party to agreements between users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and do not impersonate others.
4. User content
You retain ownership of your content and grant Bartind'r a limited licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service.
5. Prohibited conduct
Bartind'r has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
- Harassment, discrimination, threats or exploitation.
- Fake jobs, profiles, scams or spam.
- Unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or dangerous content.
- Requests for unrelated payments or credentials.
- Scraping, reverse engineering or bypassing security.
6. User interactions
A match does not guarantee an interview, job, worker, payment or outcome. Users must verify people, venues, qualifications and conditions independently.
7. Moderation
Open the safety menu on a profile or in Browse, or tap the three red vertical dots on a match or in the chat header, to report content or block an abusive user. You can also report a message by pressing and holding it. Blocking removes the user from your feed and closes your conversations; it also notifies the moderation team. Removing a match alone does not report or suspend the other person.
We filter explicit abusive text and review photos, videos and chat attachments before making them visible to other users. We act on objectionable-content reports within 24 hours: confirmed objectionable content is removed and the responsible user is expelled. Report evidence is handled privately by authorised moderators.
Separate permission for OpenAI moderation
Images uploaded to profiles and chats, including images awaiting review, are sent to OpenAI for automated visual safety moderation only after you give separate explicit permission in the app. Chat text, videos, audio and documents are not sent to OpenAI by this feature. You may choose manual moderation instead; images remain hidden from other users until approved. Change or withdraw permission in Profile → Account → AI moderation privacy. Withdrawal stops future AI processing and does not reverse analysis already completed. Your choice and its timestamp are recorded for privacy compliance.
8. Availability
The service may change, be interrupted or be discontinued.
9. Disclaimer
The service is provided as available. Bartind'r does not guarantee user identity, conduct, suitability or reliability.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bartind'r is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Bartind'r may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
